Technology and Connectivity
- A survey will be sent to staff and parents/guardians during the last week of July to determine the level of computer access and high speed broadband within their homes.
- The district will provide devices to students who are without.
- The district will provide internet access to students who are without to the extent possible.
- Students who do not have access to web based materials will be provided with hard copies of materials or thumb drives with the academic content.
- All teachers will utilize Google Classroom as the instructional platform.
- Video/live streaming will be done through Zoom and recorded lessons.
- IT support will be provided for staff, students, and families.
- ”How To” videos on Google classroom and School Tool using user-friendly language.
Hybrid mode
- Students in grades UPK-5th grade will not share computers while in in-person learning.
- UPK-5th grade students will not be expected to transport computers back and forth to school on a daily basis.
- Students in grades 6-12 will transport their computers back and forth to school.
- Students will be provided with wipes to disinfect their computers on a regular basis.
Full In-Person with Heightened Health and Safety Protocols
- Students in grades UPK-6th grade will not share computers while in in-person learning.
