Hello, my name is Megan Tracy and I am thrilled to be your Jr/Sr High School Principal! This is the start of my 12th year in education. I was formally a high school math teacher. I started my career in Brooklyn, NY and then moved for a few years to Williamsburg, VA. I moved back to NY in 2018 and reside in Homer.
I graduated from Warwick Valley High School and went on to complete my BA/MST in Secondary Education in Mathematics at SUNY Plattsburgh. I obtained my Certificate in Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from Stony Brook University.
I have four children that range from 1 years old to 15 years old collectively with my fiancé. We love to find things around the area to do, especially in the fall time. Pumpkin picking, apple picking, fall festivals, trunk or treats -we look forward to fall all year! I love country music and we love to travel to different venues for concerts. My favorite place in the world is the beach. My family is originally from New Jersey so I try to make it a point to see the Jersey Shore at least once a year.
I am truly excited for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year and look forward to meeting you all.
