When students or staff members test positive for COVID 19:

5-day guidelines

  • If you test positive with no symptoms, day 1 starts the day after your positive test.
  • If you test positive with symptoms, day 1 starts the day after you begin symptoms, not the day after you test positive.
  • Isolation will be for 5 days.  If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are getting better and have no fever, you can come back to school on day 6. Masks must be worn on days 6-10.
  • If you continue to have symptoms after day 5, remain in isolation until you have no fever and symptoms get better. Masks need to be worn on any days you return to school if returning during days 6-10.

Complete the isolation affirmation paperwork (even if you do not live in Cortland County).
